What I didn't like
For the makeover I picked a product that I have wanted to recreate for a while. Its a Valentine's Day product. I lost the file for this clipart set and was not able to change it or add to it. This has been the extra push I needed to tackle that remake. Everything was in color, which was not printer friendly at all. I wanted to add new updated font and graphics.

What I Changed
I added a new cover page, new font, and new clip art and frames from Ta-Da Doodle Illustration, Educlips, and Creative Clips. Other frames from Mad Clips Factory, and Graphics from the Pond. All the worksheets are printer friendly. This product went from 54 pages to over 100 pages. It has been spiced up and is looking fabulous.  It is printer friendly. Math centers are in color and black and white. There are recording sheets to go with Valentine's Day task cards.

To see this product you can stop by my  TPT Store

Holiday and Seasonal Product Giveaway

Its the third week of Teaching in the Net month long Birthday Blow out Celebration. If you are just now joining us, you will be blown away at the selection of prizes you can win this week. With one more week to go it is an event to not to be missed. Let's get started with a little bit about my top three favorite holidays.

1. Easter-My kids find so many ways to use those colorful plastic eggs. They make great counting and word games. Of course sometimes those eggs are filled with candy, and it encourages my little ones to get their work completed. Then they are allowed to eat it. The day is celebrated with a few Easter eggs hunts, and a family dinner.

2. Fourth of July- I love watching the fireworks light up the sky. My youngest son, I still have to hold my hands over his ears while he cuddles real close to me and watches. He just doesn't like the noise.

3. Christmas- Everything about Christmas makes me smile. All of it, picking out a tree, making holiday cookies, shopping, wrapping gifts and spending time with your loved ones. There is something magically about that time of the year. Its hectic and busy but putting all the time and effort into making it a special day is worth it. My daughter's birthday is on Christmas Eve. She is my own little miracle.  It makes the holiday more special.

What are your 3 favorite holidays? Think about it as you check out this week's seasonal/holiday products. It almost feels like its a back to school giveaway. Well, let's not rush that, instead just think ahead. You will be prepared with these resources for WHEN you go back to school.

Pool Party Birthday Blog Hop

Last week I turned the big 3-0 folks. Yes its officially. Let's celebrate with a blog hop and a giveaway. Together with 30+ TPT bloggers we are kicking this summer off with teaching ideas, freebies, sales, and three giveaway packs totaling in $300. I know you are just going to love what you find during this hop. Oh and I put together a handy ebook so you can find Teachers Pay Teachers' sellers on their social media networks and everything is hyperlinked so all you have to do is download and click away to connect.

My daughter loves keeping track of all the birds that come into our backyard. One thing we do is keep a nature journal of our feathered friends. Its a project that you can start in the summer and continue with all year long. It can be simple as keeping a blank notebook with drawings and research finding.  Or students can type them and create a journal.

I love a good cookie recipe. This is my recipe entry for The Best Summertime Picnic Recipes Brought to you by 75 TPT sellers. See fabulous recipes in this ebook created to save you time this summer.

In the summer months we tend to use simple recipes most days. A project that you can do with your little ones is to collect all their favorite recipes and create a cookbook. Use these blank ready to print pages to get started with.
