My favorite EOY topic was new for me this year - teaching cursive! My kiddos really loved it this year.
My tip for new teachers would be print a set of labels with for each students name at the beginning of the year. It will save time since you won't have to write their names a million times as you label things (books, folders, recording sheets, etc.) Then find a logical place to store the labels so you can find and use them all year. :)
Get some extra sleep this summer....the beginning of the year is always stressful and fun, but with little sleep for me
ReplyDeleteAlready on summer break!
